BTSCF COVID-19 Updates & Protocols

Green Blog.jpg

On 6/19 Pike County will be able to move from Yellow to Green which clears us to open our doors. We want to share with you our plan for reopening and moving workouts back under our roof. It is our goal to make your time with us fun, productive, and safe while offering the opportunity to improve your physical, mental, and emotional health.  Your help and cooperation will allow us to do this.

Equipment Return

If you have borrowed equipment from BTSCF, we ask that you return the equipment prior to the start of our reopening.  This will allow us to clean and sanitize the equipment.  We have already begun to make announcements via Social Media, in our FB Member Group, email, and the Remind app regarding the equipment return process.  Equipment may be returned during any class time beginning Monday 6/15 - Wednesday 6/17.  Additionally, you may return equipment on Tuesday and Wednesday from 11am - 1pm.

Class Capacity

We will be limiting our class capacity to 15 members. To secure your spot, you will need to make a reservation in the Zen Planner App.

Class Schedule

We are revising our class schedule to accommodate the check in process and additional time to clean.  Our schedule will be as follows:

Morning:

5:15 - 6:45 (M-F)

8:00 - 9:30 (Weekend Only)

9:30 - 11:00 (7 Days)

Afternoon:

3:00 - 4:30 (M-F)

4:30 - 6:00 (M-F)

6:00 - 7:30 (M-F)

We will monitor attendance for all classes and make adjustments if necessary.

Class Structure

Each class will fall within a 90 minute window.  The first 15 minutes of that window will be the check in period.  After the 15 minute check in period, the next hour will include the same class structure you are familiar with. The remaining 15 minutes of class period will be for any additional equipment cleaning you need to complete, as well as time for the training staff to clean common areas prior to the next class.  You must exit by the end of your class window.

If you arrive early, please do not enter the building until the start of your class time.  Due to the protocols we are putting in place, please ensure that you arrive on time as we will need to stay on schedule.

Arrival & Check In (15 Min)

  • At the start of your class time, please enter through the main doors into our lobby.

  • We ask that you sanitize/wash your hands upon arrival.

  • You will have your temperature taken. If your temperature is over 100.4℉, you will not be permitted to take part in the class.

  • You will have to sign a health declaration in which you confirm that you are showing no symptoms of COVID-19.

  • You will then have to sign in via Zen Planner to confirm your attendance.  *IMPORTANT* As class sizes are limited, reserving and signing in via the Zen Planner app is required.  If you make a reservation but do not sign in, the Zen Planner app will consider it a “No Show.”  If you accumulate three “No Shows” Zen Planner will not allow you to make future reservations.  You will need to contact us to resolve this.

  • Once check in is complete, you may enter the gym, claim your designated workout space, and we ask that you clean the equipment within that space.  *NOTE* Upon arrival, the equipment within your space will have already been cleaned.  Cleaning the equipment is for your own peace of mind and is an extra precaution. Cleaning supplies will be provided within your workout space.

Class & WOD (60 Min)

  • The class/WOD portion will be very similar to what you are used to.

  • There will be a workout introduction and explanation, warm up, mobility, skill demonstration and practice, WOD, and recovery.

  • Once the WOD and recovery is completed, please begin to clean the equipment and your designated workout space.  If you touched it, please clean it.

Post WOD Clean Up & Exit (15 Min)

  • Please use this time to clean up any remaining equipment and your designated workout space.

  • Trainers will be cleaning common areas such as bathrooms.

  • Trainers will confirm if your equipment should be left or returned to their proper location.

  • Once your workout space is cleaned, please collect your belongings and prepare to exit.

  • Please exit the building through the door to the front of the building (by the speakers).

Designated Workout Space

In an effort to maintain physical distancing within the gym, we will be creating dedicated workout space that will be sufficient to participate in our classes.  Upon arrival, you will find all of the equipment necessary to complete the workout.  Should you need to swap equipment, or be in need of additional equipment, please discuss with your trainer and they will help ensure you have what you need.

Included within your workout space will be a caddy that contains cleaning supplies for your equipment.

PPE

The use of face masks during the check in process and workout introduction is appreciated.  Once we begin the warm up, skill work, and WOD, if you wish to remove your mask, you may do so.

Cleaning Protocols

Our staff will ensure that all common areas including the lobby, bathrooms, doors, and floors are cleaned frequently and on a regular basis.  This includes our regular cleaning procedures as well as additional cleaning between classes.

Health Notifications

All staff and members will be responsible to notify us if you test positive for COVID-19 within 14 days of your last visit to our facility.  We will then reach out to all those who may have been exposed.

Physical Distancing & Protocol Signage

We will have posts around our facility outlining these protocols and reminders to maintain physical distancing.
